The Story Behind Goddess Nail Studio
The name Goddess Nail Studio holds deep meaning for me. In Indian mythology, there is a long-standing belief in the power and presence of gods and goddesses. A goddess represents the feminine source of energy—a symbol of shakti (power), manifestation, abundance, wisdom, fertility, wealth, and beauty.
I strongly resonate with this belief. My vision has always been to create a space where every woman feels empowered, celebrated, and treated like a goddess. This philosophy is at the heart of everything I do, which is why I chose the name Goddess Nail Studio.
I am an award-winning nail technician, a Brillbird Nail Educator (Auckland), and the proud owner, artist, and creator of Goddess Nail Studio, where creativity, luxury, and individuality come together.
I am a Fine Art graduate from Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design, Auckland. Before entering the nail industry, I pursued my passion for ceramics for nearly seven years in my home country. Coming from a strong creative background, I have always been naturally drawn to art, colour, and detail.
I have also been well-versed in cosmetics and beauty from an early stage, so working within the beauty industry was always something I envisioned for myself. Nails became the perfect canvas—allowing me to merge my artistic training with beauty, precision, and creativity.

After developing a strong interest in nails, I moved back to New Zealand in 2018 and enrolled in a Foundation Certificate Course in Nail Technology to gain a thorough understanding and complete knowledge of nail care and services.
In 2019, I began working as a fully qualified nail technician at a reputable nail salon in Auckland. Since then, I have continuously invested in upskilling and advanced education, keeping myself up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and innovations within the nail industry.
Looking at my skills and creativity, I was offered the role of Brillbird Nail Educator (Auckland) in 2021. In 2023, I was proud to win a Silver Medal in the Novices category at the New Zealand Nail Competition.
I specialize in hand-painted nail art and have achieved multiple placements in both national and online competitions. I placed 2nd twice in the Online Nail Art Competition in 2019 and 2020 during the lockdown, judged by international celebrity judges. In 2021, I won 1st place in the Online Nail Art Competition based on Valentine’s Day Nail Art.
In 2023, I also achieved 2nd place in the Mystery Tips category at the New Zealand Nail Competition floor entry.

I am an entrepreneur and work full-time from my studio, operating by appointment only. The studio features a small, welcoming waiting area where you can sit back and relax till you wait for your turn.
